Pegasus Residential encourages our residents to enjoy pets in their apartment to enhance their lifestyle and the enjoyment of their home.  


Policy


The animal of choice must meet the breed criteria of the community. Certain aggressive breeds may be restricted. Aggressive breeds may include the following: Rottweilers, Chows, German-shepherd, Bull Mastiff, American Bulldog, American Staffordshire Terrier, Dobermans, Akitas, Pit Bulls, Mixed breed with aggressive tendencies.Veterinary documentation may be required.


Pet deposits will not be required at any Pegasus Residential community.


Nonrefundable pet fee must be paid prior to the resident moving to the community or transferring to a new unit. A pet fee is not required if the transfer is due to certain circumstances such as unusual maintenance related conditions or damage to the apartment, personal issues, or mishaps such as a fire, break-in or similar criminal activity. Each community will determine acceptable animal species and list them on the Rental Criteria.Pets are defined as dogs, cats, fish, and birds. Exotic pets are not permitted. Each community will determine a nonrefundable fee for all residents who own pets.The amount to be determined is specified in each community and listed in the Community Information Binder. The determined amount is also stated in the Animal Addendum.  


Pet rent may be required at your community. Service animals will be accepted without breed or weight restrictions.  No deposit or pet fees will be charged. Damages caused by the service animal will be charged to the resident. Service animals that exhibit aggressive behavior will be documented and appropriate action will be taken to correct the behavior.

Touring: Government issued I.D is required to tour. Income: Income verification is required during the application process. Credit/Criminal: Unsatisfactory credit may require additional deposit & criminal background checks are required.
